2025 Natalie A. Price Scholarship Recipients

In keeping with a tradition that started 25 years ago,  the OSWGA Board of Directors are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2025 Natalie A. Price Scholarship Award. Natalie was a co-founder of OSWGA with Trudy Dufault. This award was created in Natalie’s memory to promote the importance of continuing education for young female golfers. Each recipient has received $1,000 to assist with their college expenses.

The recipients are:

Brooke Barner – University of Rhode Island
Reid Barner – University of Rhode Island
Samantha Tinsley – Assumption University
Emersyn Trenholme – University of New Haven

We are scheduled for an 8:30 SG, however, if everyone is there for 8:00 and ready to play he might let us out early.

Please be sure to alert everyone in your foursome of the time change.

Bring lots of water to stay hydrated.

DUE TO PREDICTED EXTREME HEAT FOR TOMORROW:

We are trying to secure an earlier start time for tomorrow’s tournament. Be prepared to start at 7:30 or 8:00 if the course will allow that. I will send a confirmation start time later today, once we hear back from the Pro. You may also check the website for start time.

There is also a possibility that we might change the format to 1BB rather than 2 BB to facilitate faster play. We will decide that, tomorrow morning at the course.

PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL OF YOUR TEAMMATES ARE AWARE OF THE POSSIBLE CHANGES.

1. Click here to find the event/tournament you are interested in. Click on the VIEW button to get pertinent information from the event portal about that tournament. 

Note: You can also select 2025 Tournament Schedule under Tournament Info to the right of this page

2. In the portal, you can register once the opening date has arrived, by going to the top right corner  (3 white lines) and then the home tab. 

3. Under home tab, Click on Event Registration, then follow instructions – you will need to enter your email and password if you have previously registered.

4. For guests and non-members, there will be a place near the bottom of the page for you to enter information for your registration.

5. From this portal you can also access tee assignments, results, player of the year points, photos, etc.
