The Nathalie A. Price Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in memory of our co-founder. Nathalie was an avid golfer who believed in equality for women golfers. Her most notable successes included breaking barriers on the golf course as well as in life. She will be remembered for her commitment to education and for establishing a women’s division of the R. I. Public Links Championship. Known by all as “The Legend”, Nathalie died in May of 1996, the second year of OSWGA existence. The Nathalie A. Price Memorial Scholarship Fund offers assistance to post-secondary junior female golfers from the state of Rhode Island. Funded by generous donations from members as well as revenue from tournaments held at private country clubs, scholarships have been awarded to over 80 deserving young women. In addition, $5 of each member’s dues is deposited into the fund.
