Ladies,
Regarding this year’s election:Both candidates are running unopposed. Our by-laws do not allow for write in or nominations from the floor. Furthermore, our by-laws allow for a voice vote under these circumstances and the candidates need only 1 vote to win the office. That said, absentee ballots are unnecessary as they will not affect the outcome of the race and will not be sent out. This was an error on our part by including the absentee information on the banquet invitation. Sorry for any confusion .
